How we can work together
Hello future client,
They say the first step is always the hardest and honestly, I think that’s true. This page will give you a sense of how I work, what therapy with me is like and whether it feels right for you.
How I work
Priority number one is that you feel safe.
I work integratively, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need. Your mental health and wellbeing is not one-size-fits-all.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I work with you as a whole human being: your emotions, patterns, body and story.
Where it feels helpful and with your permission, I may offer reflections or gently challenge certain beliefs or perspectives, always from a place of care.
Each session can look and feel different and that’s totally okay, I would like to work with whatever feels more supportive for you that day.
Human experiences are layered and complex, so it’s likely we will explore both recent and past experiences together, at a pace that feels manageable.

Who I support
Not everything that brings people to therapy is a life-shattering event. Sometimes it’s more subtle, feeling general unease or not quite like yourself anymore and wanting to get curious about that.
As well as this, I work with adults who may be experiencing things like:
Grieving a loved one (death or non-death loss)
Feeling lost, overwhelmed, numb, anxious or deeply sad
Navigating identity, self-esteem, boundaries or self-worth
Experiencing grief connected to cancer or diagnosis of hereditary conditions (including CDH1)
Going through major life transitions
